Parkers Liquid Hammer

Parker Merchanting’s Business Development manager Dave Cureton, said Liquid Hammer was “ set to revolutionise the traditional and non-ecologically friendly cleaning methods used within the hire industry.”

He added: “Liquid Hammer is completely free of the traditional side effects associated with acid cleaners.

“It can clean cement equipment, ready-mixers, mixers and hand tools. Liquid Hammer is harmless to aluminium, painted surfaces, glass and rubber and can be used to remove concrete from almost any surface.

“And because the product is not harmful to the environment it can be drained directly into the public sewer system.”

Liquid Hammer is non-corrosive, and uses biodegradable substances to break down the molecular compound that binds cement with sand and water.

Harmless to handle, Liquid Hammer is easy to use, as well as being energy efficient, saving work time and improving cost returns. And because it doesn’t use any form of acid and removes the need to hammer away concrete from equipment it also extends the life span and durability of hire machinery.

Developed to replace aggressive acids being used in removing concrete Liquid Hammer is a biologically degradable liquid which is safe to use on a wide range of surfaces including painted materials, aluminium, glass and rubber

Simply mix with water or using the latest addition to the range Liquid Hammer Pre-Mix, it is sprayed as a foam onto machinery and left to act. After 20-25 minutes it can be removed either by using a high power jet wash or water and a stiff brush.

Liquid Hammer was brought to the UK by suppliers Addax International with Parker Merchanting being the sole distributor.

Stephen Day, Group Hire Operations Director at Travis Perkins, who were sponsoring the New Product category at the show, was impressed after seeing Liquid Hammer in action.

“It is a fantastic product and provides a real solution to a problem that has existed within the hire industry for many years.

“Liquid Hammer does what it says on the tin. I’m sure people will find it provides an efficient and cost effective way of cleaning and maintaining equipment,” he said.
